So I just have to say this....HOW AWESOME IS IT TO LIVE IN NEW YORK!?!?!??!?!?!

I'd have to say.....awesome. Last night at work (that's at Loki Lounge for all of you who don't know...) I was swamped. I had a couple parties to take care of and just people coming in. I'm doing the rounds seeing if anyone would like anything and I see a woman wearing an "Avenue Q" sweatshirt. Having seen the show last May as a graduation gift my Jon (awww...he's so sweet...) and LOVING IT of course I said, "I saw that show! It's amazing. I loved it!" And what does the woman next to her say (whom I had already been in contact with prior to knowing this), "We work on the show. I'm one of the stage hands and she's the Stage Manager (Christine M. Daly)." I almost fell over. And then they said that Christian Anderson, who plays Nicky and Trekkie Monster) would be showing up. I think I passed out then...I'm not sure. So needless to say, I was able to chat for a minute with Christian (who is a very nice man...It was a pleasure to meet you, Christian. Hope to see you again sometime soon). He was great. Funny, witty, and just plain nice. Before he left, he made it a point to come up to me and say that it was nice to meet me (and likewise) and that was just really nice. So despite the hectic night that had started out, it turned out to be pretty great. And totally worth it. And having met 3 amazing people like that....Wow. I never thought that would happen to me. Hope it happens more often.

Oh, and by the way, do go and see "Avenue Q". It's really fantastic. And hilarious. And witty. And smart...........The list just goes on.
