This is a really fun and exciting show to be a part of. It's part of a festival (Under The Radar) at The Public Theatre during January 9-19. Written and directed by Young Jean Lee herself, the show is about Lee's life-long struggle (having grown up in a very Christian household) of Christianity. Even though this is set up and performed like a church service, this is not your typical Sunday. I thought the show was cleverly written and makes you really think about things (religious or not) and isn't that what you want art to do? Make you think??? I was very proud to be a part of this smart and new work. I can only hope better things for Young Jean Lee (and company) and this piece.
