This was my first show at Montclair State University. I was so excited to be a part of this show. My character was Roberta Victor. She was, at this point and time in the show, a high-class hooker. During the rehearsal process, we received the actual stories of these real life people since the show is based off of a book of interviews of the "working class". Roberta's story, as I read hers to get a better understand of who she was as a person, was one of success and then a spiral downfall ending in drugs and "cheap tricks" just to fulfill her craving to get stoned and high.

The House of Bernarda Alba
I was THRILLED to be working with one of the best professors at Montclair State University. I had never had Dr. Trauth as an acting teacher but had taken a class with her...and LOVED it. I had always wanted to work with Dr. Trauth so when the opportunity arose, I was happy to accept it. Even though I had a very small role in this show, Dr. Trauth (along with Diane Zaremba who helped us all with our voices) pushed us all, no matter how big or small our role was, to have an objective, to make specific choices, and to have a motivation throughout.
These Are The Shoes
I have to admit, I had never heard of Tim Miller until I had worked with him. I had never done performance theatre until this point as well. To be even more honest, I had no idea what I was in for when I signed up for this...but I'm sure glad I did.

Fool For Love
This was my final project for my B.A. degree before graduation. I felt extremely proud of this performance. Even though it was only 20 minutes long (due to the many other performances going on that night), I worked very hard on this. I really put myself out there with no hesitation and had a "no-holds-bar" attitude. Throughout college, I had ensemble roles and felt that this 20 minute piece was able to show off what I'm capable of doing. Classmates and professors had nothing but the nicest comments about the performance. I knew I did the piece justice and hope to do it in the future.
