This was a professional staged reading done at the Dramatists Guild of America. This one was held on April 29, 2008. Two more readings will be done on June 2nd and 9th. I understudied this role but will be performing in June.

This is a really fun and exciting show to be a part of. It's part of a festival (Under The Radar) at The Public Theatre during January 9-19. Written and directed by Young Jean Lee herself, the show is about Lee's life-long struggle (having grown up in a very Christian household) of Christianity. Even though this is set up and performed like a church service, this is not your typical Sunday. I thought the show was cleverly written and makes you really think about things (religious or not) and isn't that what you want art to do? Make you think???
